Established in 1991 when Merton Malloy came from Auckland's CBD to dynamic Newmarket, Malloy Goodwin Harford has grown with its clients. It takes pride in that collaboration.
The arrival from City practices of Mike Goodwin in 1995 and Alfred Harford in 1996 has seen the firm's growth accelerate and capacity expand. David Ruck has been a valued member since November 2003. Mike Goodwin retired from the firm in July 2006.
Most recently David Moorman joined the firm as a partner in 2007. David was previously a partner in a national law firm.
Merton, Alfred, David Ruck and David Moorman contribute to the firm a wealth of experience gained from their present association and from their previous established and successful legal practices.

Our clients include individuals and families, emerging and established businesses and trusts. Our long-term relationship with so many of our clients is the strongest measure of our clients' acceptance of our desire and ability to provide personalised efficient and helpful advice and assistance.
Our firm is committed to remain small enough to provide a personal service, yet large enough to provide specialist legal advice on a wide range of legal and commercial issues. The firm's size enables it to deal with complex work while the partners remain attuned to their client's day-to-day legal needs.
All clients' files are actively managed by a partner. In appropriate circumstances, to achieve cost-effective results, our associates and legal executive make a significant contribution.
Our four partners cover many specialised areas of practice. Where necessary we collaborate among ourselves and with our highly skilled staff to produce the best and most economical results for our clients. In areas of legal practice which we do not service (e.g. litigation) we maintain close relationships with a network of highly regarded legal practitioner litigation colleagues to whom clients can be referred.
